My Story…
I started out as a theatre actress, working long hours, touring, and eating poorly. After years ignoring the stress of that lifestyle, I finally realised that my health and wellbeing were suffering.
I changed my ways - quit the game - became qualified in Integrative Nutrition, specialising in the peri menopause Pilates, Yoga, and Craniosacral Therapy.
Today I want to use my years of experience and knowledge to help people like you.
I had always dreamt of a big family, so after our beautiful son Milo came along, we presumed we would have another. However, after many tests, and multiple rounds of IVF, we realised this was not going to happen.
Unfortunately, a lot of damage had been done. My health deteriorated, food intolerances and leaky gut appeared, the perimenopause arrived early and anxiety reared its ugly head.
At times I thought I was completely losing it and even now, if I don’t prioritise my mental health and wellness, I feel the strain.
I needed help, and after extensive research I realised that a better understanding of food could assist my health recovery. Over time I became an expert in nutrition and the correct use of supplements, combined with new lifestyle choices that would slow my tempo, bring the important things in my life to the forefront, and allow myself time to practice yoga and meditation.
I took control by reassessing lifestyle and food.
I have by no means got it all worked out and I still have days when I want to scream and shout! I am a work in progress, always changing and growing and sometimes hiding my head under the duvet to get some peace, with my beloved pooch!
Milo is growing up fast (he is amazing and all that we need!), we live in Provence in the South of France, I married a rather wonderful man, (he told me to write that!), and we share a house with Patch the cat and Winnie the spoilt labradoodle!
My other skills!
I have always been interested in helping people and have a history of working in the health and wellbeing sector. Since 2008 I have been a qualified Pilates Instructor - certified by Alan Herdman, and I am also a fully qualified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, taught by Franklyn Sills. Through a combination of certified training in different modalities, I have become well placed to provide a holistic approach to Health Coaching.
